4. At the center of our Milky Way is a supermassive black hole. Its mass is equal to 40 million Suns. The force of its gravity is so strong that even a ray of light cannot pass through it, hence the black hole is black because there is no light in it.


Imagine if our solar system was also near it, then it would have swallowed our solar system too, but do not worry, its home is far away from the black hole where its gravitational force cannot reach.
